Over 1,500 companies worldwide rely on WhereverSIM
Whether it’s patient monitoring, in-home emergency call systems, medical wearables, or mobile medical devices: connected medical technology relies on a reliable data connection. Only when devices communicate reliably can measurement values, status information, or alarms be made available where they are needed.
Connectivity becomes particularly challenging when devices are used on the go or change locations. At the same time, medical applications place exceptionally high demands on the secure transmission and management of data.
With the right IoT SIM card, your devices will stay reliably connected anytime, anywhere.

With WhereverSIM, you don't have to worry about network coverage, individual mobile carriers, or managing your SIM cards. We'll ensure your devices have the right mobile connectivity so you can focus on your medical application.
Reliably connected, securely managed, and flexibly scalable. From a single device to an international rollout.
Access to multiple mobile networks within a country (national roaming), e.g., in Germany: Telekom, Vodafone, and o2.
Thanks to network roaming, you always have access to the strongest mobile network in your location by default, regardless of the carrier.
>485 networks in over 189 countries for your M2M project. Near borders, devices automatically connect to networks in neighboring countries.
No throttling. The fastest possible local speed at all times.
As standard, our M2M SIM cards support data transmissions and SMS, voice calls on request.
From the optimization of clinical processes to the further development of smart healthcare devices and the safeguarding of vaccine and drug cold chains: The Internet of Things has arrived in the healthcare sector. Medical wearables help to provide health data, while digital care assistants support interaction between and with patients.
Our M2M SIM cards in smart medical technology ensure the right connection so that all important data is available anytime and anywhere. Health data can be provided in real time via mobile communications, enabling quick decisions to be made.

Unlike consumer SIM cards from network operators, our M2M SIM cards are not tied to a specific mobile network. Instead, they enable IoT devices to access all available mobile networks at their respective locations via national roaming. Since our M2M SIMs are set to unmanaged roaming by default, they allow devices to connect to the strongest mobile network at their location rather than to that of a preferred carrier.
Worldwide, devices that meet the minimum technical requirements can connect to over 485 mobile networks using our M2M SIM card. In Germany, our M2M SIM cards support all mobile networks operated by the three carriers—Telekom, Vodafone, and o2—with a single plan.
M2M SIM cards enable medical devices to connect to cellular networks without relying on Wi-Fi or a wired infrastructure. Multi-network SIMs can access multiple cellular networks and are therefore particularly well-suited for mobile devices or applications in varying locations. Additionally, a central platform can be used to manage, monitor, and automate numerous SIM cards.
M2M SIM cards with access to multiple cellular networks are particularly well-suited for mobile medical devices. With non-steered roaming, the SIM is not permanently tied to a preferred network but can use available cellular networks at any given location. This increases the selection of available networks and reduces dependence on a single mobile network provider—for example, in mobile patient monitors, emergency call systems, or other devices used in varying locations. Corpuls is already successfully using WhereverSIM’s M2M SIM cards in ambulances to reliably transmit patient data.
Various security mechanisms can be implemented at the network level to ensure secure data transmission from medical devices. These include, for example, a private APN and a secure connection between the cellular network and the enterprise backend via an IPsec VPN tunnel. Additional features, such as an IMEI lock, can prevent an M2M SIM from being used without authorization in another device. WhereverSIM offers these and even more security features.
The security measures required depend on the specific application, system architecture, and the data to be processed.
Which mobile communication technology is best suited depends on the specific application. For example, 4G and 5G are suitable for applications with higher data requirements, while LTE-M and NB-IoT may be of interest for IoT applications with lower data volumes and specific requirements regarding power consumption or building penetration.
Key factors include data volume, required transmission speed, power supply, hardware, and network coverage at the site of operation. For this reason, the appropriate mobile communication technology should always be selected based on the specific use case.
