Over 1,500 companies worldwide rely on WhereverSIM
Whether it’s individual charging stations, charging parks, or international rollouts: a stable cellular connection is the foundation for reliable operation.
Data transmission failures can result in charging sessions not being billed correctly, remote maintenance failing, or charging points being reported as unavailable.
The good news is that many of these challenges can be avoided from the start with the right connectivity solution.

With WhereverSIM, you don't have to worry about network coverage, mobile carriers, or managing individual SIM cards—leaving you free to focus on what really matters.
The demands placed on modern charging infrastructure are high. That is why operators rely on a mobile communication solution that combines reliability, transparency, and flexibility.
Access to multiple mobile networks within a country (national roaming), e.g., in Germany: Telekom, Vodafone, and o2.
Thanks to network roaming, you always have access to the strongest mobile network in your location by default, regardless of the carrier.
>485 networks in over 189 countries for your M2M project. Near borders, devices automatically connect to networks in neighboring countries.
No throttling. The fastest possible local speed at all times.
As standard, our M2M SIM cards support data transmissions and SMS, voice calls on request.
No matter where a charging station is located, with wherever SIM , electric charging stations wherever SIM the strongest network available at that location. For reliable transmission of billing and availability data.
We are already successfully working with operators and providers of e-mobility charging solutions who use our M2M SIM cards to manage their charging infrastructure. Our e-charging partners benefit from flexible IoT plans and maximum network availability.

Unlike consumer SIM cards from network operators, our M2M SIM cards are not tied to a specific mobile network. Instead, they enable IoT devices to access all available mobile networks at their respective locations via national roaming. Since our M2M SIMs are set to unmanaged roaming by default, they allow devices to connect to the strongest mobile network at their location rather than to that of a preferred carrier.
Worldwide, devices that meet the minimum technical requirements can connect to over 485 mobile networks using our M2M SIM card. In Germany, our M2M SIM cards support all mobile networks operated by the three carriers—Telekom, Vodafone, and o2—with a single plan.
Yes, that is possible. The IMEI lock feature "marries" the SIM card and the device. Users can easily do this themselves via the SIM portal. The SIM card can still be removed from the device, but it can no longer transfer data to any other device and is therefore unusable if stolen. The IMEI lock can only be removed in the SIM portal.
An M2M SIM card ensures that all data is reliably transmitted to and from the charging station—regardless of where it is located. Remote maintenance, software updates, and error analysis are only possible if the charging station is connected. The transmission of payment and billing data also requires a stable data connection.
Unlike traditional SIM cards, a multi-network SIM is not limited to a single mobile network provider. Instead, it can use multiple mobile networks and automatically connect to whichever network is available. As a result, charging infrastructure operators benefit from higher network availability, fewer connection drops, and greater flexibility in choosing locations. In addition, administrative overhead is reduced because there is no longer a need to manage SIM cards from different network operators—all networks are already integrated into a single SIM card.
A charging station's data usage depends on various factors, such as the backend system used, communication intervals, remote maintenance functions, and software updates. In many projects, monthly data usage is in the low double-digit megabyte range.
Since requirements vary from project to project, we’re happy to advise you on choosing the right rate plan. That way, you’ll only pay for the power your charging infrastructure actually needs.
Yes. Existing charging points can often be converted to WhereverSIM simply by replacing the existing SIM card. Our M2M SIM cards are compatible with standard charging infrastructure and router solutions. We’d be happy to help you test your existing hardware and guide you through the migration process.
Yes. WhereverSIM provides access to more than 485 mobile networks in over 189 countries worldwide. This makes it possible to implement international rollouts and cross-border charging infrastructure projects using a single SIM solution. All SIM cards are managed centrally and supported by a single point of contact—regardless of the countries in which your charging stations are operated.
