Our story begins with the founding of whatever mobile GmbH 2002. As a provider of secure and technically reliable SMS applications such as mTAN and two-factor authentication, the Hamburg-based company has made a name for itself across various industries. With more than 70 employees and an agile approach to in-house software development, whatever mobile works for companies such as Siemens, Postbank, and PayPal, and is rapidly growing to become Germany’s largest messaging provider.
The founding of wherever SIM GmbH the first step into an emerging market of the future: multi-network SIM cards / M2M SIM cards. In doing so, WhereverSIM benefits from its many years of experience in the mobile communications market and its established relationships with network operators. As with SMS previously, the company focuses on an existing network operator product and improves it based on the actual requirements and needs of corporate customers.
In 2017, the SMS messaging business of whatever mobile GmbH was acquired GmbH the LINK Mobility Group. wherever SIM GmbH operate independently and has since successfully implemented more than 1,500 projects worldwide.
